First Home Buyers Grant Queensland

In addition to the First Home Buyers Grant, Queensland first home buyers do not have to pay stamp duty on a home purchase where the property is valued up to $500,000. This could mean a saving of up to $8,750 on a home valued at $500,000.

Regional First Home Buyer Bonus

Regional first home buyers purchasing a newly constructed property who would normally be eligible for the First Home Owner Grant may also be eligible for an additional $4,000.

First home buyers in the following council areas are not eligible for the additional grant: Brisbane City Council, Gold Coast City Council, Ipswich City Council, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Logan City Council, Moreton Bay Regional Council, Redland City Council, Scenic Rim Regional Council, Somerset Regional Council and Sunshine Coast Regional Council.
