In the first instance, you should try to resolve the issue with the Mortgage Consultant that arranged your finance as soon as possible. This should be done in writing or email to ensure that you have a record of the initial complaint, but can be done verbally. The Consultant will respond to you in writing, within 14 days of receiving your initial complaint.

If you are dissatisfied with the response from the Consultant, or feel uncomfortable making the complaint to them directly, you should contact realestate.com.au/homeloan's Complaint Contact Person. The Complaint Contact Person (CCP) has sufficient experience to understand your complaint, and is a senior employee of realestate.com.au/homeloans. Their details are as below:

The Complaints Contact Person will request a statement from the Consultant in relation to their version of events. This will be required to be provided within 5 working days of the CCP receiving your complaint. The CCP will inform the Consultants Regional Manager that a complaint has been made, the details of the complaint and that it is in the process of being resolved.

You will receive a response in writing within 30 days of contacting the CCP, advising you of the reasons for the outcome, and explaining what further action is open to you if you are unsatisfied with the response.

If you are not satisfied with the response to your complaint provided by the CCP, realestate.com.au/homeloans is a member of Credit Ombudsman Services Limited (COSL).
